LIFERS RELEASE NEW SINGLE “TEMPER” – THE FUN SUMMER ANGST WE NEED
NY based Pop-punk band Lifers have dropped their brand new single today and it’s a hell of a good time from start to finish, to say the least.
The four piece band, which includes guitarist and lead vocalist Billy Kupillas, bassist Bryan Nunez, lead guitarist Peter Berardi and drummer Chris Berardi released their newest single “Temper” earlier today and it’s one of the most fun listening experiences this year so far.
The track is absolutely stellar, with fast paced, bouncy riffs and unique vocals by Kupillas that give us a sense of old school summer pop punk nostalgia that’ll make you want to scream the words while driving with the windows down while also having a unique and very specific sound that not many people have or could properly execute- which in this case was done flawlessly. Much like the groups first singles, “Nosedive” and “Pavement”, the track manages to have a carefree and upbeat sound while still managing to give us the classic pop-punk angst we all know and love.
When asked about the inspiration behind the new single, Kupillas said:
“Temper is a song about taking something to the brink repeatedly even when you know it’s no good to do so. Pushing limits, and buttons.”
