Rising post-hardcore/alternative rock outfit Awaken I Am have released their new single “House of Cards” alongside a music video, directed by Colin Jeffs.
The third single off of their upcoming fourth full-length studio album, which is set to release this year via SBG Records, “House of Cards” is a slow-burner. Stylistically similar to the likes of self-titled era Rain City Drive, the track builds with suspenseful synthesizers before exploding with an anthemic chorus empowered thanks to Jimmy Stevenson‘s stellar vocals. The track showcases a softer side of the band compared to the previously released singles “Relic” and “Tightrope“, which both released last year.
