No Life Have an “Identity Crisis” on New Track
No Life just doesn’t stop putting out bangers. Fresh off of last year’s ‘Delinquent’ EP, the Australian-based “pisscore” outfit is already back and hungry for more, dropping a new single “Identity Crisis“.
“Identity Crisis” expands on the band’s beatdown metalcore roots, incorporating glitched out electronics and samples into their sound. These new elements are used tastefully- in some ways almost leading the track onward and adding a sense of structure and melodic intention. These additions also give the listener a moment to breathe before smacking them upside the head with devastating drop-tuned riffage. The track dives into the nu-metalcore genre, boasting a style reminiscent of the likes of fellow Aussie groups Alpha Wolf & Diamond Construct.
“Welcome to our most diverse release yet! Identity Crisis is a wild ride from start to finish and isn’t for the faint hearted! We really wanted to showcase our range and ability to create soundscapes rarely heard in metal” — No Life
Alongside the release of “Identity Crisis“, the band also premiered a strobe-filled music video for the track, which you can see now on BVTV Music. Watch the video below.
