Knocked Loose Share New Single “Hive Mind” Featuring Denzel Curry
Knocked Loose have returned with their new single, “Hive Mind,” bringing rapper Denzel Curry into their orbit for a collaboration. The track arrives alongside a music video co-directed by Eric Richter and vocalist Bryan Garris, filmed in the band’s hometown of Louisville, Kentucky at the well-known David Armstrong Extreme Park skate spot.
Musically, “Hive Mind” leans into the band’s metallic hardcore intensity while giving Curry space to deliver a rapid-fire verse that feels rooted in the genre rather than borrowed from it. The pairing has been speculated about for years, and the result lands as a rare crossover that feels intentional instead of novelty-driven.
Speaking on the collaboration, Garris explained that Curry was the only name that ever truly made sense for the band.
“This is something we’ve talked about doing for a long time. In the very beginning, we said for it to work, it would have to be Denzel Curry. Because he gets it.”
“Hive Mind” marks the first new music from Knocked Loose since the release of their 2024 album ‘You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To’, which featured the Grammy-nominated single “Suffocate” with Poppy.
The band is set to remain visible on the live circuit throughout the year, with scheduled appearances at Sick New World in Las Vegas and Dallas, in addition to select summer dates supporting Metalllica. With “Hive Mind,” Knocked Loose add another chapter to a run that shows little sign of slowing, reinforcing their position at the forefront of modern heavy music rather than simply orbiting it.
