Post-Hardcore four-piece Crown The Empire have announced their fifth studio album ‘DOGMA’ will be released on April 28th via Rise Records. Additionally, the band have also released a music video for the title track of the album, co-directed by the band’s guitarist Brandon Hoover.
Speaking on the album, bassist/screaming vocalist Hayden Tree said-
“We brought back the classic elements of Crown without taking anything away from what we’ve done more recently. The high-energy, fast-paced, hard-hitting riffs, with the band’s more melodic side, mashed together into an updated sound.”
The 10-track record was produced and mixed by Zach Jones (Fever 333, Poorstacy, Scene Queen, Nova Twins) and will also feature previously released singles “In Another Life (feat. Courtney LaPlante)”, “Dancing With The Dead”, and “Immortalize”.
‘DOGMA’ is described to be “a diverse album fueled by angst, existential identity, isolation, and determination.” Frontman Andy Leo also said-
“The lyrics are less wordy and lofty. It’s more honest and direct.”
