Rising alt-metal outfit Common Vision have released their new single “Drowning” alongide a music video, directed by Toddi Babu.
“Drowning” is a fast-paced and energetic rocker, flirting with metalcore elements amidst its hard rock and alternative metal tendencies. This is largely in part to their drummer Matt McCormick’s superb playing, whose drumming in many ways takes charge, giving the track its aggressive edge and pacing throughout. The song is primarily focused around its catchy, hook-filled chorus that is bound to be stuck in your head after first listen.
