The accompanying animated music video channels the spirit of Mad Max, depicting the band as protagonists of their own battle for blood in a dreary, desolate post-apocalyptic world.
A bouncing synth introduces “Viscera” with the urgency of impending doom, and within seconds, brutal, scraping screams and maniacal drum and guitar rhythms are building anticipation to its climactic chorus.
The ambient quality of Lukas Magyar‘s voice shines during the song’s sweeping chorus, bringing a feeling of newness that appropriately balances the raw fury breathed into bruising hooks like “ask me where I’ve been ’cause it’s always listening” in “Viscera”‘s final boss-moment breakdown.
