Rage Against The Machine, Public Enemy, Cypress Hill reportedly form supergroup
Various “prophets of rage” posters have been found around Los Angeles, CA which lead fans to believe Rage Against The Machine were plotting a return. However, Billboard are now reporting that RATM’s guitarist Tom Morello, bassist Tim Commerford, and drummer Brad Wilk are joining forces with Public Enemy’s Chuck D and Cypress Hill’s B-Real to form the supergroup, Prophets Of Rage (referencing Public Enemy’s song of the same name).
The band are set to debut on June 3rd at the Hollywood Palladium with a show at LA’s Whisky a Go Go planned as well. A countdown can be found on the Prophets Of Rage website where it is believed the band will be officially announcing their debut at the end of the month.
