“Pretend” joins “lights (4444), “DEATH”, and “nightmare” as the fourth stand-alone single since the release of his collaborative EP with Travis Barker, Bloodlust.
When speaking on the new single, nothing,nowhere said-
“‘pretend’ is about looking back while simultaneously trying to heal. It’s about the self-destructive nature of nostalgia and it’s hindrance on long term inner change.”
