Alpha Wolf Announce New Album ‘Half Living Things’ + Release “Sucks 2 Suck” Music Video Featuring Ice-T
Australian metalcore band, Alpha Wolf, have officially announced their third full-length album, ‘Half Living Things,’ scheduled to drop on Friday, April 5, via Greyscale Records and SharpTone Records.
The album represents Alpha Wolf at their most potent and ferocious to date. Entirely self-produced in 2023, ‘Half Living Things’ reflects their uncompromising approach and commitment to their sonic vision. A visceral collection of tracks seamlessly blending heavy, fun, chugs, grooves, melodics, and breakdowns, Alpha Wolf delivers a hard-hitting celebration of their genre-defying sound.
Additionally, Alpha Wolf has dropped their brand new single, “Sucks 2 Suck,” featuring none other than the legendary Ice-T. The track is the ultimate fusion of hip hop and metalcore, a sonic battering ram that oozes menacing grooves, grinding bounce, and the unmistakable vocals of Alpha Wolf‘s Lochie and Ice-T.
Speaking on the new track, frontman Lochie Keogh said-
“It’s about biting back at anyone saying you didn’t work hard for the shit you have. If you had the ethic and tenacity, you’d have it too, but you suck, so you don’t.”
Continuing on about the new album, Lochie said-
“There can be no inner conflict without the constant tug of war between desire and disdain, the things you want versus the things you need, or the things that make you feel alive against the parts of it that do not. You cannot grow new parts without leaving the dead ones behind. You cannot be settled until you have truly known the opposite. Find out what makes you tick and just keep running around the clock until you’re happy enough to die.”
