Hailing all the way from Italy, As A Conceit have premiered their new single “Idle Hands” on CaliberTV. The track, which features Normandie frontman Philip Strand, will be on the band’s upcoming album Frown Upon Us which is due out on December 2 via Famined Records.
As A Conceit’s layered, prog-driven metalcore already bares some interesting influences. Certain moments remind of the UK’s explosively anthemic While She Sleeps while others bring to mind, of all artists, Mastodon. Take a listen below and let us know what you think.
