Lexington, Kentucky’s post-hardcore band, Too Close To Touch, have unveiled their bittersweet final album, ‘For Keeps,’ set to release on March 8th via Epitaph Records. The album marks the culmination of a journey that spanned over a decade. Unfortunately, the final chapter of this story was written with the untimely passing of beloved frontman Keaton Pierce in 2022.

Too Close To Touch invites fans into their emotional farewell with their new single “Control.” Accompanied by a poignant music video, the visual chronicles the meticulous creation of the album’s artwork by artist/director Whit Flint. With atmospheric production and dynamic drums, “Control” serves as a powerful testament to the band’s enduring artistry.

In addition, the band has shared a heartfelt mini documentary. Guitarist Mason Marble and drummer Kenny Downey sit down to discuss the significance of ‘For Keeps’ and what it means for the future of Too Close To Touch.

‘For Keeps’ is a play on one of Keaton‘s many nicknames (“Keeps”), representing the band’s final keepsake for themselves and their fans; encouraging listeners to “keep close and let the record change them in whatever way they let it.”

As Too Close To Touch bids farewell, ‘For Keeps’ stands as a testament to the indelible mark they’ve left on the post-hardcore landscape and serves as a fitting tribute to Keaton Pierce‘s enduring musical legacy.
