“Manifest the Power of The High.”
In just one lyric resonating throughout Louisiana metal quartet Cane Hill‘s latest single since their 2018 album, ‘Too Far Gone’, “Power of The High” indicates the most on-brand and relentlessly heavy sound the band has returned to deliver.
The music video begins with an unassuming scene inside of a store, seconds before viewers are thrown into a mass of riffs, powerfully unadulterated fury. Eerie, psychedelic visual accompaniment grasps viewers attention as the song lyrically speaks of circumventing hardship and reclaiming one’s power in the name of divinity.
As expected, listeners and enthusiasts are anticipating new music as the band have been using social media to tease their future endeavors and how they’ve gotten to collectively reimagine Cane Hill as newly independent artists.
Speaking on “Power of The High”, frontman Elijah Witt said-
“‘Power Of The High‘ is inconsolable fury and anguish. An accumulation of the woes, trails, and tribulations of our recent years from mind-altering aficionados to unwilling servants drowning in the unforgiving tides of the music industry, we’ve found ourselves passionately emboldened by the rage fostered whilst stuck between our realities. A declaration of third-eye-rebellion, ‘POTH’ is a calling to everyone we know and may meet to join us in breaking the mold that’s been given to you by a higher power and realize the divine being you always have been.”
