Brand New Noise: Weekly Music Roundup — September 18, 2026

Another Friday brings another stacked week of new music across the alternative scene. This week’s Brand New Noise update features 30 new tracks spanning metalcore, post-hardcore, alternative rock, pop-punk and more.

Leading this week’s additions, Holding Absence and Honey Revenge return with new music from their respective sophomore releases, while Falling In Reverse recruited Corey Taylor and Serj Tankian for “Joseph.” Elsewhere, Architects returned with “Machine,” Kingdom Of Giants kicked off a new album cycle with “Reign,” and Windwaker dropped “dna.”

The week also brought a notable return for Hollow Front, with guitarist Dakota Alvarez rejoining the band for “So Long To Yesterday.” Like Moths To Flames delivered “Tie The Ivy Through My Ribcage” alongside their new EP, ‘Does Heaven Ever Mourn For Me’, while Trivium, Downswing, HALF ME, RIVALS and VANA all added new material to the mix.

There’s plenty happening outside the heavier end of the playlist, too. LØLØ teamed with Ella Red for “delusional darling,” Yellowcard linked up with Steve Aoki on “Hell With Me,” and nightlife joined forces with pulses. for “2deep.” New releases from Anxious, Anberlin, Love Is Noise, Arrows In Action, Jutes and more round out one of our biggest Brand New Noise updates in recent weeks.

This week’s update also includes reimagined cuts from Currents and Sleep Theory, giving “Kill The Ache” and “Gone Or Staying” a different treatment to close out the week’s additions.
