Canadian post-hardcore legends Alexisonfire have announced their upcoming record ‘Otherness,’ set to release June 24 via Dine Alone Records. This will be the group’s first record in 13 years and will feature 10 tracks.

Alongside this announcement, Alexisonfire released their lead single, “Sweet Dreams of Otherness,” a powerful track filled with hazy guitars, driving drum work, and beautifully constructed vocal melodies. The band also debuted a new music video with the single.

On the new single, George Pettit state:

“This song was largely Dallas’ brain child, but over the course of writing this record, it became more of a mission statement for the band. It’s kind of about performance and embracing a new found confidence in a state of peculiarity.”
