SPIRITBOX RELEASE NEW SINGLE “CIRCLE WITH ME” (TRACK ANALYSIS)

Metalcore fans rejoice, Spiritbox just blessed us with another banger.

Spiritbox have completely flipped the scene on its head over the last few years; catapulting to the top of everyone’s playlists after the release of their insanely heavy and brutal 2020 single, “Holy Roller” followed by the ever so hauntingly beautiful “Constance. Now, ahead of the release their highly-anticipated full length LP expected to release later this year, the trio are back with their newest track “Circle with Me”.

The track features a solid and perfectly executed combination of all of the band’s signature features- including lead singer Courtney LaPlante’s phenomenally brutal screams and lows coupled with her haunting clean vocals on the hook. In some ways, it could be seen as a “Holy Roller” and “Constance” love child with an intricate and fantastically done take on the production. The instrumentals also make the actual track a very enjoyable experience overall — especially if you’re one that enjoys a zesty breakdown with your track. The lyrics are very much what we would expect from Spiritbox, being theatrically biblical in the best way possible.
