SIFYN Share New Single “Sew Me Up” From Upcoming ‘Self-Encrypted’ EP
SIFYN, the Minneapolis band founded by former Veil Of Maya vocalist Lukas Magyar, have released their new single, “Sew Me Up,” alongside an accompanying music video.
The track is the second preview of the band’s forthcoming five-song EP, ‘Self-Encrypted’, which arrives December 4.
Following previous single “Code,” “Sew Me Up” blends the band’s metalcore foundation with alternative rock, emo and pop-oriented melodies while lyrically dealing with broken trust, recognizing someone’s intentions and rebuilding yourself after a damaging relationship.
“People always show their true intentions. I’ve learned over the years to not ignore these signals. Accepting the reality isn’t always easy, but there is plenty to be gained in the discomfort.”
The new track follows “Code,” which has also found its way into rotation at Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights.
Founded by Magyar, SIFYN currently features guitarists Mike Green and Dustin Korth, bassist/co-writer Derek Sampson and drummer Avery Frisk. The group debuted with ‘Marionette’ in 2022, with ‘Self-Encrypted’ marking their next five-song collection.
‘Self-Encrypted’ arrives December 4. Watch the official video for “Sew Me Up” below, which premiered today via BVTV Music.
