The two-and-a-half-hour film captures the historic July 5, 2025 concert at Villa Park in Birmingham, which brought Osbourne together with Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward for the original Black Sabbath lineup’s first performance together in more than 20 years and ultimately their final show.

Among the performances included in the theatrical cut are YUNGBLUD performing “Changes,” Lamb Of God taking on “Children of the Grave,” Gojira performing “Under the Sun,” Metallica playing “Hole in the Sky” and Osbourne’s solo performances of “Crazy Train,” “Mr. Crowley,” “Suicide Solution” and “Mama, I’m Coming Home.”
The film concludes with the original Black Sabbath lineup performing “War Pigs,” “N.I.B.,” “Iron Man” and “Paranoid.”
Beyond the performances, ‘BACK TO THE BEGINNING’ will include behind-the-scenes footage and reflections from artists involved in the event, including insight from host Jason Momoa and Morello.
The film is presented in Dolby Atmos and 5.1 surround sound and was directed for the screen by Ben Wainwright-Pearce, with the original concert directed by Tim van Someren.
