Fire From The Gods have released their music video for “Break The Cycle”; a song for the people fighting to not have to fight anymore.
The video features footage of frontman AJ Channer’s trips to Minneapolis and Atlanta as well as additional protest coverage from the media.
“You know, it’s 2020, and we’re still having the conversation, and still fear for our lives, that as a black man in America, am I gonna make it home?
‘Let me live, I want to live.’ That’s not something- I don’t want to have to teach my kid about that. My mom had to teach me about that. My dad had to talk to me about that; about the way I’m supposed to deal with police.
We have to continue to press the issue. Because if ONE is not free, NONE of us are free.”

All the footage collected during AJ’s travels will be a part of a docu-series about the current state of the world. AJ walks the streets of Minneapolis and Atlanta just days following the tragic murder of George Floyd and conducts interviews with first hand protesters, community leaders, and other local artists leading the charge to showcase the power of strength in community and how, we as a country, can move forward. A written narrative on what he learned on his travels is set to be released on Friday, June 19th.
