Broken Youth divulge their feelings of hopelessness, anguish, and self-loathing with the release of their latest project, ‘Suffering : Silence, Vol. 1’
The St. Louis metalcore outfit’s carefully curated sound permeates the EP’s atmosphere with foreboding and visceral aggression, paying an homage to the intense emotions the band hope to relay to listeners through their lyricism and delivery.
From start to finish, the fast pace of this EP seems relentless. Dissonant, bending riffs and battering drums take the back seat as “Dis/connected” straps listeners in for a rumination on a once intimate, now estranged relationship with self.
