‘The Silence Follows Tour’ featuring ERRA, Currents, Caskets, & Aviana — Sacramento, CA — 4.10.26
Bringing their co-headlining tour through Sacramento, ERRA and Currents delivered a high energy night at Channel 24 that felt nothing short of explosive. With the show nearly sold out, the Sacramento crowd showed up ready. Setting the tone early as Caskets and Aviana kicked things off with performances that left fans wanting more.
Opening the night, Swedish metal band Aviana wasted no time making an impression. Frontman Joel Holmqvist took the stage alongside his masked counterparts Death, Fear, and Dark, creating an instantly immersive and theatrical atmosphere. Launching into “EVERMORE,” the band came out swinging with intensity, blending crushing heaviness with a striking visual presence. With movements so dramatic, back bends and spins, their performance felt both calculated and chaotic in the best way. Closing with “Obsession,” Aviana’s 35-minute set firmly established them as one of the night’s standout openers.
Shifting gears, Caskets brought a melodic contrast without sacrificing impact. Opening with “Make Me a Martyr,” the band leaned into soaring choruses and tight, well-executed breakdowns that echoed through the venue. Their set was elevated by a dynamic light show that complemented the emotional weight of their music, adding another layer to an already polished performance. Between precise guitar work, crushing drumming, and commanding vocals, Caskets proved they’re a band worth keeping on your radar.
Taking the stage as co-headliners, ERRA delivered a set that felt every bit like a main event. From the moment they began, the crowd’s energy surged, with fans fully locked in from start to finish. Frontman JT Cavey continues to elevate his live performance, showcasing a vocal range and consistency that only seems to improve with each tour. With the recent release of their latest album ‘silence outlives the earth’, anticipation was high, and the band delivered with a setlist that blended new material seamlessly into fan favorites. Enhanced by vibrant visuals and an evolving stage production, ERRA’s set pushed the night to another level, with crowd surfers and constant moshing across the floor.
Closing out the evening, Currents brought the heaviest set of the night. The intensity was immediate, translating into massive pits and nonstop crowd surfing from the first note. Pulling from their last full-length album ‘The Death We Seek’ as well as their latest EP “All That Follows,” the band delivered a well-rounded set that hit every mark for longtime fans. Their performance was tight and aggressive, an ideal way to end a night built on momentum.
With only a handful of dates remaining, this tour has proven to be one of the stronger metal lineups currently on the road. If it’s coming through your city, it’s not one to miss.
