Meet Saving Vice— the independent New England metalcore band featuring co-vocalists Chase Papariello and Tyler Small, guitarist Robbie Litchfield, bassist Kenjamin Smiertelny, and drummer Sam Whelton.

The 5-piece released their debut EP ‘Colder Than Dark’ in May 2018 which featured lead single “Euthanasia”. The strength behind “Euthanasia” was enough to get the band to perform on the final cross-country run of the Vans Warped Tour in 2018. ‘Colder Than Dark’ would go on to chart in the top 10 of the iTunes Metal Charts and appear on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.
The band remained on people’s radars all of 2019 releasing acoustic/redux renditions from their debut EP ‘Colder Than Dark’ before releasing singles that would eventually appear on the band’s 2020 debut full-length album ‘Hello There’.
Fast-forward to October 30th, 2020, Saving Vice have now released their two-track EP, featuring “The Simulation” and “The Spire”.

“Our material draws from inspirations across a lot of modern and nostalgic bands over the past decade, as well many sounds that a lot of people miss. There is a song for everyone in our discography if they’re willing to give it a listen.”
BIGGEST ACCOMPLISHMENT(S) AS A BAND:
“After our first single dropped we were able to get on the last year of Warped Tour in 2018, and our first EP charted top ten on the iTunes Metal charts and got on the Billboard Heatseekers. We were also fortunate to play iMatter Festival 2018 and 2019. The biggest milestone for us so far, we sold out our home state venue “Higher Ground” on the day of our debut LP release show in March.”

“For introduction purposes, “Never Knows Best” is one of our most popular and favorite songs, it very much encompasses the broad strokes of our style and has some really sensitive but relatable subject matter.”
WHO ARE YOUR BIGGEST INFLUENCES IN/OUT OF THE SCENE?
“There are so many artists from different genres who influence us to narrow it down a lot, but Bring Me the Horizon, A Day to Remember, The Used, Chelsea Grin as well as a lot of hip hop and pop artists have a lot of impact on how we write.”
WHY SHOULD NEW FANS COME SEE YOU LIVE?
“We made our name in our early days with our live shows, even when we played to 3 people at a bar we would play like there were 300. Everyone who shows up deserves the best show possible, there is nothing we love more than performing.”
