GALLERY: ‘The Tour To End All Tours’ Featuring Sabaton & Epica – Fox Theater – 9.21.22
Swedish metal band Sabaton are currently out on the road in support of their latest record ‘The War To End All Wars’ on a twenty five date North American tour they’ve dubbed ‘The Tour To End All Tours’. Joining them on this run is the Dutch symphonic metal band Epica.
On night five of the tour, the two European metal powerhouses made their way to Oakland, CA’s Fox Theater. After a stellar performance by openers Epica, Sabaton took the stage. The production heavy stage set up featured barbed wire at the front, a massive tank supporting the drum riser, war-themed mic stands/props, and a massive LED monitor displaying war clips and military history videos. The band’s set list consisted of a great balance between the band’s most popular tracks including “The Red Baron”, “Bismarck”, “The Last Stand”, “To Hell and Back”, as well as newer favorite tracks such as “Stormtroopers”, “Dreadnought”, “Soldier of Heaven”, and “Christmas Truce”.
