Twenty One Pilots have returned with a brand new track titled “Shy Away”, the first offering from their newly announced forthcoming album ‘Scaled And Icy’.
The 11-track album was written and produced by Tyler Joseph in isolation during the pandemic while drummer Josh Dun contributed his parts from across the country. It is reported that the album will deal with “prevailing emotions of 2020” such as anxiety, loneliness, boredom, and doubt.
‘Scaled And Icy’ is set to be released on May 21st via Fueled By Ramen. The duo are also set to perform a special “immersive” livestreamed show on the same day. Pre-orders are available here.
