DragonForce have announced their self-titled tenth studio album, ‘DragonForce’, set to arrive March 19, 2027 via Napalm Records.
The announcement arrives alongside new single “Hunger Of The Beast,” which serves as the first preview of the record and introduces the band’s newly configured vocal lineup featuring Alissa White-Gluz and Alessio Garavello.
‘DragonForce’ marks the band’s first album with White-Gluz, who joined as frontwoman earlier this year, while Garavello was recently announced as the band’s new male vocalist following Marc Hudson’s decision to step back from performing due to tinnitus.
The band’s current lineup also includes longtime members Herman Li, Sam Totman, Gee Anzalone and Alicia Vigil, alongside new rhythm guitarist Billy Wilkins.
Produced by Jens Bogren and recorded across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Sweden, the album sees DragonForce looking back toward the energy and intensity of their earlier material while introducing the dynamic created by their new vocal pairing.
According to guitarist Herman Li, the band approached its tenth album with the same level of importance as its debut while using everything they’ve learned throughout nearly three decades together.
“Hunger Of The Beast” was written specifically to showcase the contrasting vocal styles of White-Gluz and Garavello, combining the band’s signature high-speed guitar work with the new dual-vocal approach.
DragonForce will also hit the road this fall for a North American tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of ‘Inhuman Rampage’, beginning November 13 in San Diego and continuing through December.
