Anxious have released a new single titled “Secret Weapon,” continuing the band’s first stretch of new material since their sophomore album, ‘Bambi’.
The track follows “Don’t Move,” which arrived last month, with both songs marking the band’s first new material since ‘Bambi’.
According to guitarist and co-vocalist Dante Melucci, “Secret Weapon” was inspired by the increasing role that statistics, trends and industry expectations can play in shaping an artist’s identity.
“The ‘Secret Weapon’ is the business of music, the weaponization of the stats and current fads to decide who you are as an artist, and who you should strive to be.”
Anxious are currently touring North America alongside Citizen, Hotline TNT, Rocket and Cryogeyser.
