Anberlin have shared a new single titled “Gravity,” offering another preview of their upcoming ninth studio album, ‘Currency’.
The record will mark Anberlin’s first full-length album with Matty Mullins as lead vocalist. The Memphis May Fire frontman made his recording debut with the band on two tracks from 2024’s ‘Vega’ and has since stepped into a larger role alongside Anberlin.
According to Mullins, the new track centers around accepting the limited time we have and choosing to focus on the people, moments and purpose that matter most.
‘Currency’ was produced by Anberlin alongside Memphis May Fire guitarist Kellen McGregor and will feature 11 tracks, including “Highstakes” and “Trenches,” the latter featuring Switchfoot.
The band will also hit the road alongside Switchfoot later this year.
