Honey Revenge made their return to Nashville on June 27th, but this time, on their own headliner tour. The pop-rock duo has had a full circle moment on this tour, performing in venues where they once opened for many bands across several tours, now putting on a show as the headliner, including at Nashville’s Eastside Bowl.

The tour package for ‘The Loving and Losing Tour’ was perfectly curated for the growth of the rock scene and its unique genres that highlighted artists who are women, people of color, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Nightlife kickstarted the night with their patented “soulpunk” sound that perfectly set the tone for the groovy night to come. Up next was the New Zealand boundary breaking artist, Vana, who incorporates women’s sexuality into a genre that has been historically dominated by men, coining the style “pretty metal.” And, in the direct support slot was the highly anticipated Daisy Grenade that perfectly tied the support package together in preparation for the headliner, bringing out their fellow openers to duet songs with them to incorporate elements of “pretty metal” and “soulpunk” into their own unique combination of riot girl punk mixed with pop.

Every act set the stage perfectly for a Honey Revenge headliner using artists and sounds that perfectly prepared the audience for the show to come. Honey Revenge opened their set with a dramatic monologue that flawlessly transitioned into their newest single, “Risk.” The band, known for incorporating a component with stage outfits and colors to describe the “theme” (so to speak) of the sound they are creating, used a beautiful array of purples in their lighting and hair along with black, gothic yet retro inspired outfits reminiscent of the 90s and early 2000s disco punk scene. As the night continued, the duo not only played their debut, “Retrovision” that showed the band early success, but gave the crowd a taste of some unreleased songs to come.

As ‘The Loving and Losing Tour’ comes to a close, it is evident that Honey Revenge will be a household name as they continue to create interesting music and put on perfectly curated performances for years to come.
