Sad Summer Festival Featuring Mayday Parade, The Maine, The Wonder Years +More – Clearwater, FL – 7.27.24

On July 27th 2024, Sad Summer Festival hit Clearwater, Florida at The Sound. This year bringing, Mayday Parade, The Maine, The Wonder Years, We The Kings, Real Friends, Knuckle Puck, Hot Milk, Daisy Grenade, and Diva Bleach to rock out.

Upon arriving at the festival I was immediately impressed. Cute inflatables matching their themes and sponsors, local food trucks, many water refill stations, and a great view of the stage throughout the venue. 

The bands all performed with the highest energy they could in the Florida heat and humidity. Han from Hot Milk and John from The Maine both went out into the crowd during their sets and Cody from Real Friends even crowd surfed.

The beautiful west coast (of Florida) sunset set provided the most fitting backdrop during The Maine’s set. Once the sun set, Mayday Parade came through to end the night on the most Florida-pop punk-core vibe possible.
