GALLERY: The Amity Affliction & Silverstein ‘Co-Headline North American Tour’ With Holding Absence & UnityTX – Orlando, FL – 9.14.22
As we’re coming to the end of 2022 the fall has some incredible tours lined up. One of these tours being The Amity Affliction, who released a three song EP ‘Somewhere Beyond The Blue’ late last year. Amity is hitting the road with Silverstein on their co-headlining tour with support from Holding Absence and UnityTX. This heavy hitting lineup is coming through the U.S and Canada.
Unity TX
First up on the lineup is UnityTX, the hardcore/hip-hop band based out of Dallas TX signed to Pure Noise Records. They kicked the show off with a bang. UnityTX immediately brought the crowd’s energy out, the whole band was super energetic and interactive with the crowd. Needless to say UnityTX was the perfect start to the show.
Holding Absence
Next up is Holding Absence, a band from Wales. Recently opened up on Dayseeker’s previous tour. Holding Absence easily kept that same momentum of energy that UnityTX gave. Starting off their set with a song called “Aching Longing” off their brand new split EP (with Alpha Wolf) ‘The Lost & The Longing’ and ending with their song “Wilt” as the whole crowd engaged with singing and crowd surfing.
Silverstein
Next up, your co-headliner, Silverstein took the stage. Playing songs off their recent album ‘Misery Made Me’ all the way to songs from their first few albums dating back to 2005. Midway through the show, they brought out the wheel of songs. This wheel of songs allowed the crowd to engage as the wheel spun, choosing which songs Silverstein would play next. Silverstein ended their set on a great note with their song “Afterglow”.
The Amity Affliction
Last but certainly not least, The Amity Affliction took the stage. From start to finish the hour-long set did not disappoint. The crowd kept this immense energy with moshing, circle pits and crowdsurfers, they started with a song off their latest album called “Coffin” and played a wide variety of songs ranging back to their early albums. They ended their set with their most popular songs “Pittsburgh” & “Soak Me In Bleach” Amity left the fans with such a memorable show.
