December 15th 2023 was a significant day for these Ocala locals. Wage War, after a decade of going through the hoops as a new band and growing in the most organic way possible, sold out two nights in a row at the House of Blues Orlando to celebrate their 10 year long journey as a band. The band invited Erra, Zero 9:36, and Gideon to support them at these momentous shows.

Wage War had a 19 song set, compiling songs from each of their five albums. Mostly pulling from their album ‘Manic’ which was released in 2021. The night was a blast, the whole room screaming and singing along to every song and non-stop crowdsurfing and moshing. To prepare us for an encore the screens and lights went dark, then a heartfelt video documenting the journey the band has been through these last 10 years began playing on the big screen. When the band came back on stage you could tell they were getting a little emotional before playing the stripped version of “Johnny Cash” which was the first acoustic song they ever released. The crowd held up flashlights and sung along until it was time for “Manic,” the intense build up that comes along with the song was paired extremely well with the graphics on screen and the lighting on stage. Cryo cannons were going off throughout the whole night, but was given a whole new look when it was shot out along with the confetti towards the end of the energy filled track. It was such a beautiful fun-filled night, and you do not want to miss your chance to see Wage War live. Though no upcoming tours have been announced as of yet, they are on several festival line ups in 2024!
