Taking over the infamous Power Plant Live outdoor stage, Taking Back Sunday rocked Baltimore playing an extensive set with their late start at 10:00 PM sharp. Check out the gallery below as photographer Luis Rosales was there for that unforgettable night.
Taking Back Sunday was one of those bands you listened to growing up in the scene, where fans immediately started responding to the throwback music most grew up on and every word was being sang along throughout the entire night. Even some crowd surfing started early into the night as the alcohol started to set in for most fans since there’s bars surrounding the stage. Lead singer Adam Lazzara showed his years of showmanship as he utilized plenty of stage space and even tossing his microphone around. They kept their production fairly simple as they were backlit for the most part but the occasional front lighting made them visible instead of looking at silhouettes the whole time. With both guitarist Eddie Reyes and John Nolan switching to their keyboards constantly, it gave the full effect of every instrument used in their songs. Overall Taking Back Sunday put on a fantastic performance filled with high energy that stayed consistent all the way to the end.
